Unlike most other online sellers,
clients may choose keep the item on-site until sold. We will return
for the item, with a money order or certified check, once the
buyer's payment has cleared. If a client chooses, IslandAuctionAssist
will take possession of the item, to keep in storage until sold.
No up-front costs or travel fees!
We travel to our clients' location, taking crisp and clear professional-quality
photographs of items on-site, as well as MPEG video (in some instances.)
Careful scholarship and diligent research into the value and provenance
of your item follow, as we prepare both a selling strategy and
appraisal. We often consult with experts and other professionals,
as there is often a great deal of information about am item that
may not be readily available.
We correspond with bidders and
buyers; clients need only deal with us. With a flexible appointment
dcheld, we meet with our clients when it's most convenient for
them.
