IslandAuctionAssist's
fee structure for consignment is as follows:
29% of eBay final selling value
for items up to $1,000;
25% for items ranging from $1,001 to $4,999;
22% for items ranging from $5,000 to $19,999;
20% for items ranging from $20,000 to $49,999;
18% for items ranging from $50,000 to$74,999;
16% for items ranging from $75,000 to $99,999;
14% for items ranging from $100,000 to $199,999;
and 12% for all items over 200,000.
*Special
Rates*
applying ONLY to bullion (of all types), is calculated as follows:
IslandAuctionAssist's
commission for ALL precious metal bullion, in all forms, is 6%
of the Final Value of the item.
(The above stated fees will be
deducted from Seller's profits, once the item sells and the buyer's
payment has cleared.)
**For
business clients, as well as galleries, special discounted rates
apply** If
an item from such a client sells, IslandAuctionAssist will pay
both the eBay Final Value Fee (or other sites' equivalent final
price selling charge), as well as the PayPal payment processing
fee.

For registered vehicles, a Creative
Services fee is charged, only if item is sold.
Other
charges may be due, in the event of a non-sale.

For real estate, creation of the
eBay listing (and setting up your account, if necessary) is free.
However, our Creative Services fee (includes authoring of copy,
taking of photographs and videos, and compiling the photos and
video on CD) is due prior to creating the eBay listing. (Please

Additionally, the rights to use
all photos and MPEG video of your item may be purchased for a
nominal fee, for your own use, in the event that the item does
not sell, and you wish to sell it on your own.

eBay and PayPal Fees:
IslandAuctionAssist's commission
will be deducted from the total payment recieved from buyer, once
payment is processed. In addition, any standard eBay fees incurred,
including insertion fees, final value, listing upgrades, and/or
PayPal fees will also be deducted from the Seller's total profits.
(business clients and galleries are exempt from eBay final value
fees and PayPal fees)
Even if your item does not sell,
you must pay the eBay Insertion Fees, as follows:

For auctions with a 'Reserve
Price', the item will not sell until the bid price meets or exceeds
the reserve. Reserve Fees are only due if a listing had a Reserve
Price set, and the item fails to sell. If the item sells, eBay
waives this fee entirely.

of Reserve Price (up to $50)
Buy It Now fees
are charged when a Buy-It-Now option is selected by the seller.
The fee schedule is as follows:

The Insertion Fee for
Multiple Item Auction (Dutch Auction) and Fixed Price listings
is based upon the opening value of your items. The opening value
is the starting or the fixed item price multiplied by the quantity
of your items. The maximum Insertion Fee for any Multiple Item
Listing is $4.80.
The Final Value Fee for
a Multiple Item Auction is determined by taking the Final
Value Fee of the lowest successful bid and multiplying it by the
number of items sold. The Final Value Fee for a Multiple Item
Fixed Price listing is calculated per item sold, based on the
final sale price of the item.

Final Value Fee, Auction-Style
Listing: (business clients and
galleries are exempt from eBay final value fees)
If the item sells, you will also
be responsible for eBay's Final Value Fee; the fee schedule is
as follows:

$25.01 - $1,000.00....................8.75% of the initial $25.00

of the remaining closing value balance ($25.01 to $1,000.00)

($1.31), plus 3.25% of the initial
$25.01 - $1,000.00....................($31.69), plus 1.50% of
the remaining closing
value balance ($1000.01 - closing value)
Final Value Fees for Fixed-Price
lisitng differ from the above chart. The first $50.00 is always
AT LEAST 12% of the closing value, and may be less., depending

*If you re-list the item for the
same, or lower, starting price, you will not be charged a second
insertion fee if, and only if, that item sells the second time
it is listed. If the item does not sell, both the first and second
insertion fees are due.
PayPal Fees
Besides the eBay fees, PayPal
fees MAY apply, billed at a rate of 1.9% to 2.9%. (business
clients and galleries are exempt from PayPal fees)
(You may request that
buyers refrain from using PayPal as a method of payment,
to avoid extra charges. Be forewarned: This will significantly
decrease the number of viable bidders, as many rely on PayPal,
and so we will usually not suggest this. However, we will always
honor our clients' wishes, and setting an individual eBay listing
to accept only certain payment method is perfectly acceptable.)
These fees apply to the following:
payments funded by PayPal Balance, PayPal Instant Transfer
or PayPal e-Check, Credit Card, Debit Card or Buyer Credit.
Donate with MissionFish
eBay allows donations
to legal charities registered with MissionFish. There
are tens of thousands of charities available. You may choose a
percentage of your item's final selling price to donate. Please
note that if your item fails to sell, there is a five dollar minimum
donation, if MissionFish's services are utilized. MissionFish/eBay
donations are, in fact, tax deductible. Click on the Mission Fish
