Legal Notice
IslandAuctionAssist
- eBay Trading Assistant Consultant Professionals
All sales on eBay, regardless
of format, are considered legally binding contracts, with the
exception of all real estate listings. If you, the third party
Seller, fails to deliver the item after it has been purchased
on eBay, or any other electronic list or e-market, the internet
Buyer, IslandAuctionAssist, and eBay will have legal recourse
for recompense. Please consider that New York State contract law
governs the specifics of all non-real estate sales on eBay.
IslandAuctionAssist enters into
a formal signed contract with our Trading Assistant clients, assuring
peace of mind and security. All parties are assured that their
expectations will be met. If, for any reason, something does not
go as planned, the contract helps protect all parties before the
law.
Please note that IslandAuctionAssist
insists on exclusivity in the markets that we utilize to sell
your item. In some instances, however, such as with self-representing
artists, galleries, and art agents, we do permit a seller to continue
attempting to procure a sale, if such is done outside of eBay
or other websites that IslandAuctionAssist routinely lists items
on.
Attempts to misrepresent an item's
condition, provenance, or other quality, as well as attempting
to sell counterfeit or 'bootleg' items on eBay will be considered
breach of contract, and the appropriate authorities will be contacted.
We will not conduct business with those seeking to pass off junk
as the genuine article.
